Traditionally, the Qixi Festival was an opportunity for women to showcase their skills in arts and crafts, make wishes, and celebrate sisterhood. The festival was brought to Singapore by Chinese immigrant women in the 19th century and became a grand celebration until it faded in the 1970s.

Now in its second edition, Qixi Fest expands on its previous success by introducing new interactive experiences and deeper community involvement. This year, the festival features an enhanced lineup of workshops, immersive games, and a wider array of performances, ensuring that both returning attendees and new participants find fresh and exciting ways to engage with this historic celebration.
